Help! I need a press release asap!

We are a small non-profit foundation currently providing study abroad scholarships and awards to underfunded Arts students at Fresno State. Most of our students have never been outside of California or on a plane. When they are awarded a scholarship to attend the London Program, their minds are blown, and their lives are forever changed. It's quite powerful to experience this moment with them and see the emboldened shift in their trajectory once they return to Fresno. The Foundation has one big fundraising push the third weekend of October each year. Yes, it is fast approaching, so we are looking for a creative, heart-centered writer, who can put into words the power of what we do and why people would want to join us for our Scotch, Brew & Art Affair and help support our cause. We are looking for a PSA and a press release this week, and another press release the week after the event on October 16 (and then at least quarterly throughout the years moving forward). Good media connection has been a missing link in our processes thus far and we have now grown to a level that it really needs to be filled. Understanding of the Arts and Non-profit world is a plus.
