Logo Project

This is a 2-part bid. The initial bid is the $ amount to be paid to the winner of this submission of a logo design. (The submission portion should be between $30 to $100) However, within the details, the bidder is to submit a proposal for the "total completed" project ($over and above the initial submission amount) that would include collaboration with the project committee (only if selected as the winning bidder). This submission is to present concept design ideas, final design will be done if you are the committee's winner. Please bid only on the submission $ only (but include your FINAL project amount if you are chosen by the committee). If you have questions on this, please contact me. The winning bidder on this posting, will have their original design(s)submitted against a local Quebec graphics designer. A committee will select from that designer and the winner of this project. The project submission deadline is noon (mountain time) Monday Oct 20. The winner will collaborate with members of the committee to fine-tune the logo design. The job would include the logo and lettering for ‘ICoMST 2012’. In addition to being used on the website, the logo design will be used on correspondence, promotional items (paper, cloth, metal, plastic, electronic communication, etc.), and publications so it should look good in colour and in greyscale and be able to be reduced to a recognizable binary form. Since this international conference is held in a different location every year, the logo should reflect something about where it is being held in 2012 (Montreal, Quebec, Canada, but most specifically Canada). Please check the attachment for further background information, and search the web for other ICoMST design ideas and background. The theme of the conference is not decided on yet, but it will have something to do with the ‘value chain’. The value chain is the series of points over the life and death of an animal in which value is added to our meat.
