Overview The creation of an employment portal for employment agencies and job seekers. The idea is for future employers to post jobs and with the resume uploaded by the job seekers with the use of tags, the job posting will match the qualified resume based on hashtags. Once a job posting has been matched to a qualified resume, an SMS will be sent to the candidate. The candidate has the option to reply (Y/N) to the job posting. If a candidate responds Y, then his/her resume is applied to the job posting and if N, then no application will occur. There will be 3 portals. One for the Admin, prospective candidates and Employers. Employer Portal: In the initial website, there will be an option to signup as an Employer or Job Candidate. For an employer, he will click on the “Employer” button that will open the Employer portal. The splash screen will consist of, Company Name, EIN Number, Address, City, State, Contact Info. After the bio information is filled up a dashboard will be created with different panels like, Bio, Postings, Messages. In the posting panel/Icon when clicked it will have the open the “Create Posting”, “Edit Posting”, “Delete Posting”. Postings: Once the Employer selects “Create Posting” the following will happen. A page will open up with the following details. Posting End Date (Date Posting won't be valid anymore and can’t match resumes), Header, Location, Posting, Description & Work Experience Required, Acceptance Message (This will be a text field where a congratulatory message would be computer and the interview date, time and location details would be composed). Once all these information is filled out. It will prompt the Employer to a tags page. These tags will be based on the skills required by the company. For example, if the company is looking for a SAP HANA developer in the tags section they would enter “SAP HANA”, “HANA”, “SAP” and so on and the tags can be anything. There will be no certain limit to how many tags a company can put towards a job posting. Once the employer finishes with the tags, he can click “Submit Post” and the posting would be live. Message Notifications Section Once a job is posted, resumes with Tags that match the job postings, a notification will be sent to the Job seekers and if they reply “Y” the company will get a notification in their “Message Notification” panel, where they can click on the notification and view the prospective resume and transcript in the portal and after the resume is viewed, if it matches the prospective applicant, there will be an option to “Accept” or Decline the resume. If “Accept” is clicked on, then an SMS text will be sent to the prospective job seeker with the Acceptance message. Job Candidate Portal: At the signup screen on the web portal, the Prospective Job seekers will click the “Job Prospects” icon and the portal will direct them to the signup scree where it will ask for “First & Last Names” , Address, NIN No, DOB etc. after that information is filled out the next screen will be a resume entry just like Linkdien. The following txt field will Appear. Name, College, Major, Minor, Graduation Date, Work Experience for multiple Jobs, Graduation Class/GPA, cover letter. After all this information if filled the next screen will be to upload transcript from college, next screen will be Tags, the tags will be based on the Candidates skill sets and the candidate is allowed to put as much tags as possible. Once the candidate has entered all this information, a dashboard will be created for the candidate just like a Linkdien profile, showing all the information the candidate has entered into the portal. There should be an “Edit Profile” button where the candidate can change his profile at anytime. Extra Requirements: From the matches of resumes the company gets they should be able to filter by GPA/Graduation Class (This field will be provided by us) We just want a demo of the website not the real thing yet. Just a test that shows us signing in as either a Company or Candidate create a profile and posting and the posting matching to the resume we created based on the hashtags the company and job created. We also want to receive an SMS on our mobile devices, select either “Y” or “N” and based of our selection it either applies to the job or not. Also receive a text confirmation when the company selects “Accept” with the congratulatory message. Just a demo of the websites workflow.
