ARTENET - UNITY 3D Game engine
We need to find good C# developers for Unity 3D to help us with small projects. This is not about a whole project, but help us once in a while. What we need to know:
Gamer = you, the one who will play the game.
Player = computer-driven automatic character in the game. There will be up to 12 different players available in the whole game.
Objects = items with specific qualities that can empower or weaken a player.
The whole game takes place in multiple closed (bordered) environments at the same time.
Each environment has its own automated (computer-steered) players.
You, as the gamer, can increase the amount of players by adding them to the environment. Players from one environment can also be taken and moved to other environments.
The game will have multiple input possibilities. It should be playable by smartphone (touch) and computer/game console (keyboard/game controllers). After that, it will have to run on Android OS as well. Software = Unity 3D. Language = C#
In order to play the game, you have to register or sign in with your Facebook account.
Every 24 hours you log in (at least once), you automatically get 10 credits.
Environments and objects
Each environment has its own objects, which you, as the gamer, can put in or take out. The automated players constantly move around in the environment and have to respond naturally to the objects (or co-players) which cross their path, or they might run into. Players can also fight with and eventually kill each other if their characters do not fit together.
Market place
Players can be bought and sold in some sort of market place. Objects as well.
In the market place, you can search for the object you want to acquire. There will be a menu with a number of buttons which represent categories of objects.
The market place runs on a real-life server. Objects and players can be sold by one gamer to another as well (for credits) via the market place (by placing the object or player in the market place). The gamer starts with 0 experience points.
Experience points and Credits
In order to gain experience points, you can carry out tasks, in a different environment which does not have visible borders. This environment seems endless. You carry out the tasks by navigating through the 3D environment, searching for and collecting players or objects even credits. Example: Dark Orbit (Google it). Another way to gain experience points is to move two players into a different, calmer environment, so a random number of new players emerge from their private interaction(breeding): players you can sell in the market place for credits.
