TRAIN TUNNEL ADVERTISING

TRAIN TUNNEL ADVERTISING\\r\\n\\r\\nFILM ADVERTING WTHIN TUNNELS\\r\\n\\r\\nThis invention takes the theory of film and allows for its use within tunnels for advertising.\\r\\n\\r\\nCurrently advertising on the Tubes is limited to the posters that are put up around tube stations. This invention allows for advertising while the passengers are travelling on the trains themselves.\\r\\n\\r\\nEach frame of the advert is erected along the walls of the tunnels in advert holders. The speed of the train would then give the effect of a moving picture. Special lighting erected to the roof of the trains would be sufficient to light up the tunnel walls which would have been turned into a movie screen. \\r\\n\\r\\nAccordingly this invention provides frame holders for the frame by frame images that need to be erected as well as the special lighting to be attached to the roof of the train or to the advertising boards which are activated as the train passes them so as not to interfere with the train drivers vision or visibility. Lighting could also be activated by sensors positioned at point G in the illustration.\\r\\n\\r\\nA preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: \\r\\n\\r\\nFigure A is an example of how a reel of film looks.\\r\\n\\r\\nFigure B is an example of how the wall of the tunnel would look. Also note that the posters would be further apart at points in the tunnel where trains would speed up and closer together where they would slow down.\\r\\n\\r\\nFigure F shows use of the invention in train tunnels with a front view of the train and how the lighting attached to the roof of the train would light up the advertising frames. \\r\\n\\r\\nFigure K illustrates how the additional lighting within the train would also help to illuminate the screens.\\r\\n\\r\\nThis invention could be applied to a number of locations - any underground train system as well as the Euro tunnel.
