Poster design for charity fundraising dinner

The local chapter of a national charitable organization is hosting a fundraising and public awareness dinner, and seeks a creative and inspired poster design to advertise the event.
Two designs will be required - one for full colour printing, the other for grayscale. Assume a print size of [url removed, login to view]".
Both an English and (Qu?bec, Canada) French version will be required. We will provide the French text as soon as it is available (pending translation).
We will provide text and our national logo to the selected bidder. We are open to licensing third-party images if required. Ideally, the poster should incorporate at least one image of a blind and/or visually impaired persons actively doing something, but we will definitely need to pre-approve that to avoid any misconceptions.
The time line is somewhat short but I recognize the need for an iteration or two from a preliminary design and we will try to respond as quickly as possible.
**Please ask if you have any questions**. Ideally, you should provide a sample of some _print poster_ designs you have done. (Web site mock ups, etc. aren't of as much help.) Your bid description must include the word "porcupine" (to confirm you have read these minimal instructions) or we will assume it is simply spam.
