Hello, I can do it with macro + excel function. Macro for finding all matches of X works, Only to choose from this list those entries matching Y and Z using excel function (max 2 hours). Best regards

Hi, Creating the macro in Excel would be feasible, but I want to propose you a better solution. I can provide you a desktop tool ( Windows ) that will read the Excel file, accepts user input, calculates and then present all the possible schemes in a tabular form. A button will also be added so that you can export the result (all possible schemes ) to Excel file. Please let me know should you have more concerns regarding the features of the tool. Hi there Just wrote a script that'll find and list the working sums. It works, job done, and you can have it right away. I can pretty it up and make userforms and that. Wont take long either. This is assuming, that you only want to find fx A1+A3. Not if A4+A5+A230 works. Or A3-A45. It can be done though. Just takes a bit longer. Regards, Ove

I did have one clarifying question though: Are you only interested in locating 1+1...pairs...of records that match your criteria? Or do you want to find triples? quadruples?...etc? ...ALL possible schemes? If the later, that will take longer to develop and execute. Please let me know and thank you for your consideration.
