Electronics Project

This project requires design, an electronic product to a given specification. The product will incorporate elements including analogue electronics and a programmable device such as a microcontroller or FPGA. Project Specifications: Many factories used automate vehicles for delivering around sites of special component etc. a simple vehicle for this application is required to be design and tested. Design a vehicle which follows a white line on the floor, and should have the ability to stop safely and provides some indication in the event of an obstructer being encountered, and then continuing on it’s path when clear. When the car observes a broken white, line it should send wireless massage to screen on the side on the blackboard indicated why the car stop. The screen will record and let the operator. The design should be innovative, functional and cost effective. Your work must be of outstanding quality and fully meet the requirements of the specification outcomes stated. You must show independent thinking and apply this to your work showing originality and consideration of key issues. There must be evidence of wider reading on the subject. DELIVERABLES: PART 1. Product Development: From the above specification for the development of the product, you will complete this to include the follwoing deliverables: - a circuit design needs to be made (FULL explanations should be given) - schematics, components used, method of assembly, operation and connections should be provided. - this should also include the programming part (full code with explanations) - NO actual (physical implementation is required) (basically we dont need to do any lab work) (just need to deliver the above and the below) PART 2. Presentation: You will need to produce presentation slides with speaker notes outlining the features of the product and how you went about developing the product. THIS WILL BE BASED ON THE PREVIOUS DELIVERABLE. YOu will basically need to convert all outcomes of part 1 into presentation slides ti include full explanations. The presentation slides should be done in two parts 1- the design and devleopment 2- the program (code) used to control and operate the developed product Aim to also include (if possible) a reflection of the World of Work assessment and how you used the feedback to help you in your product development.
