Hi, my name is Ken, I am an electronics engineer with over 28 years experience, and over 16 years in embedded software. I am based in North Wales, UK. My proposal is to use a ATMEGA328 with Arduino boot loader and code (not on arduino PCB but on its own custom PCB) with external op-amp gain and filtering to capture the RGB photodetector levels, and have the UV LED powered from the arduino also via a MOSFET buffer. I would think that the PCB would be reasonably small with a micro USB connector. I would then write a C# .NET PC software application to take the values and display as a graph with option of having raw data to CSV saved so it can be opened in MS Excel or other application software. The hardware could have a push button to instigate the sampling if required, I would imagine that the software would sample the sensor at 10mS (or greater) intervals so you could build up a complete picture. My bid price, includes full design (schematic & PCB with Gerber files) plus PC software application and 1 working prototype.
