Long term virtual assistant

Hi, I am a curator of contemporary art and a founder of social enterprises - my work and initiatives are extremely diverse in nature, spanning from exhibitions, website production, research, publications, hardware development, events, to the establishment of co-working spaces throughout Europe. I am looking for someone who is a confident English speaker and writer to help me with personal administrative and business tasks. I’m searching for someone to be my go-to assistant, someone who I can work with long-term as my work grows. Work will vary significantly over time but initially be composed of admin tasks and research that can be conducted online. To start, there will be 14 hours of work per week, guaranteed. This would preferably be done for 2 hour per day at the same time each day (weekends negotiable). This will be the minimum time, and I’ll pay you for it even if there is no work to do. Work will all be coordinated online using Trello ([login to view URL]). Occasionally, I might authorize more hours for specific deadlines, but I’d coordinate that with you in advance. You’ll always get clear, specific directions and instructions for all tasks. I’ll also give feedback when necessary, to help you learn on the job. You’ll be helping with a wide variety of tasks, such as: Market research Business analysis Administrative work Archiving Copywriting Coordinating meetings & travel Data entry (with some basic accounting) Email correspondence (mainly for research purposes) Don’t worry if you’ve never done some of these before. I’m looking for someone who is smart and driven, and who has initiative. Requirements: -You need to be fluent and well-written in English. -Ability to use online task management tools, including Trello and Asana (I try to avoid email) -Broadband Internet connection -Ability to meet deadlines -General knowledge of online tools like dropbox, google docs etc Preferable: -Some technical skills, HTML, CSS, etc. -Knowledge of photoshop -Previous experience as a VA Knowledge in these areas is a bonus but not a requirement: -Contemporary Art -Open Source Hardware and Software -Blockchain technology Duration: This work will come with an initial probationary period of 2 weeks - providing things go well, this will be a long term position lasting at very least 3 months.
