Google maps/ earth expertise

I am going to try to use either googlemaps or google-earth as the mapping system for my organization. The information to be mapped changes almost daily, and I am looking, basically, for technical support. Someone who knows both expertly (or close) and can answer my questions to guide me how to do certain things. Here are some of the questions I have/answers I need: This is how I import my data into google earth/maps: 1) Change multiple markers at once. I use a site called [login to view URL], then I download to a kml file...and import into gmaps....however, I need to change all of the markers. I copy and paste the data from an excel spreadsheet, I am mapping crime, so there are different types. Is there a way to assign different icons by crime type. For example - 459V = Blue car, GTA = Red car, 459R = Residential burglary, etc. I will also create another file that need photos attached. Can I do this in bulk? I will have to do these twice a week...so I need to KNOW HOW to do it myself. This is just an example of the type of assistance I need.
