Greetings! I am currently a high-school student situated in Bangladesh. Ever since I started freelancing on this site around May last year, I've successfully transcribed several audio interviews for different clients of mine ranging from various topics. I'm actually working with an excellent client from the UK on a project which will soon come to an end (Project is about transcribing interview sessions on movie topics with a few technical terms in each interview). However, coming down to a fixed rate (preferred for transcription work), I would charge USD $25 (this is inclusive of the freelancer project commission of USD 5$). This has nothing do with hourly rates . On this particular project posting I actually could not bid the amount of 25$ since the minimum amount set is $30. However, you can create other jobs of transcription for 25$ per hour of audio transcribed if you choose to work with me Turn around time would be 2-3 days or less (depending on audio quality and pace of speech) and I assure high quality results. Dear Hiring Manager, I have done a course and worked for a Medical Transcription company in the past. I then did my Masters in Computer Applications and I have worked for a software company as a System Engineer for the last 10 years. I am good at Medical Transcription and Audio Transcription (English). So, I think I am a fit candidate to apply for this job. My typing speed is around 50 words per minute with an accuracy of around 98%. I have studied in an English medium school and I would be good at editing also. Hoping to have a long-term association with you. Before you hire me, you may send the audio file that you want to transcribe, along with the template or format. I would be seeing whether it is clear and audible, I would be transcribing the first 3 minutes and sending it to you as a sample. If you feel that the transcription is of good quality, you can hire me through Freelancer.
