Hello, I've been a transcriptionist for over 20 years, and you'll find my work to be extremely accurate, and that I always meet or beat deadlines for completion, delivering product that you are guaranteed to approve. I have also worked as a freelance writer and editor for 20 years. I'm a bit confused by your Project Description - did you perhaps mean 180 MINUTES of transcription per month, rather than 180 HOURS? If it's hours, that's fine. But the quote I'm giving you here of $140 is based upon doing 180 MINUTES. Please clarify this and I will be happy to discuss negotiating the price a bit for ongoing work. Also, the column formatting you provided is unusual compared to most formatting I tend to work with, but I am happy to deliver the work formatted in whatever way you need it. I did several minutes of the sample audio you attached. However, Freelancer no longer allows bidders to attach sample files to their bids (they used to); so if you send me an IM message here, I can attach the sample transcription and deliver it to you that way. Greetings, I feel I would be a good candidate for this job as I enjoy typing and have no trouble understanding quiet people or people with heavy accents. One of the task types in my previous work was to listen to audio and make sure it matched the text on screen and I have yet to make any errors. I have also transcribed a few things in my personal life for a discussion group I host once a month in order to keep record and give other group members access to such. A bit more info on the current job would be helpful. I assume I am not bidding on the full 180 hours of work, correct, just a portion of it? What is this portion?
