Proof reading and editing business articles

I am currently writing a range of short articles which I will convert into blog posts as well as putting together for a [login to view URL] topics include things such as:management time management negotiation skills customer service parenting teambuilding MY STYLE I like to write in a conversational style. It is really how I speak. The reader needs to be able to connect with me and feel like I am sitting next to them talking in the ear. My audience is middle to general managers. These are reasonably intelligent people who are busy and don't have time to read anything which does not connect with them in some way. I usually use a program called Dragon NaturallySpeaking to dictate my voice into text. I am telling you this because occasionally the software will translate an incorrect word. What I'm wanting someone to help me with are things such as: * formatting, especially when I use inverted commas (when describing conversations with people) * general grammar. I think I am reasonably good grammar, but you might be able to point out some areas where I'm going wrong. * basic editing. Can you tighten up or improve what I have written. * proofreading. Ensuring that what I have written is correct. I would like you to have a look at the document I have attached. This is pretty typical of my writing style. I currently have 5 documents (16 pages each) ready to be proofed. I would like your advice around things such as: * using commas, colons and semicolons. As you proof my work, am I using, is correctly? * verbs and adjectives. Am I getting these around the right way? * inverted commas. When I write stating what a person is actually saying, am I getting the inverted commas and the full stops in the right place? In Australia we use British English. Flavour versus flavor. Colour versus color. Systemise versus systemize. Please, have a look at my file and provide me your feedback. I would love to move forward.
