We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Designer/Draftsperson to join our team on a freelance basis. Our projects encompass a wide range of residential designs, including single-story homes, double-story homes, multi-developments, and granny flats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential design, with a particular focus on projects from Australia, preferably Western Australia. Responsibilities: - Prepare DA Plans & Working Drawings for various residential projects using ArchiCAD. - Ensure all designs comply with local WA R-Codes and the National Construction Code (NCC) where applicable. - Collaborate with our team to ensure design specifications are met. - Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently. Requirements: -Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential. Knowledge of other drawing software such as AutoCAD and Revit will be considered. -Previous experience working on residential projects in Australia, particularly in Western Australia, is required -High proficiency in English, both written and spoken. - Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, with hours ranging from 0 to 40 per week depending on the project. - Knowledge of local WA R-Codes and the National Construction Code (NCC) is a bonus.
