1. 5,000 square feet of main floor programming space. Main floor office space a “contact centre” – a place where people who are struggling with homelessness, addictions and/or mental health issues can “one-stop shop” for the services they may need. If the footprint is large enough, shelter beds could be provided on this level as well. 2. 2nd floor would include space for the Day Centre / Friendship Centre, some emergency beds and minimal office space. Friendship centre is a place where people with a first nations background can gather and get help and/or access to services. A communal space, library/reading space. Kitchen, bathroom for male and females, Kitchen etc. Some serve meals and some offer emergency beds. 3. 3rd & 4th floor for residential units. 375 square feet to 500 square feet rooms, studio and one bedroom units. Perhaps 3rd for families and male residents and 4th floor all for females. For safety reasons, both floors around 40 units combined. The fourth floor elevator locks to give only key card access. 4. parking space and green space out side for playground and quite time. 5. Roof top terrace and on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor a set of washer and dryer somewhere will be nice and a board room and staff kitchenette/lunch room on main floor.
