Background: "Routines and transitions are often social experiences as they provide children with an opportunity for support and peer interactions. Transition times include a variety of tasks such as cleaning up after an activity and preparing for the next one, transiting from one classroom to the next or starting a group meeting, and all of which are often challenging for both the early childhood educators and children.
