Arduino is not suitable for this, you need low power micro-controller, like ATmega328 so It can last longer on battery again you need gateway like simm800L to post your flow sensor data to a web over MQTT so those water/gas meters uses reed switches to give out pulses ? send me a message , good thing is I can build the app to monitor the flow data too in real time If you want

Hello sir, The project depends on what kind of processing do you need. If this is basic sensor monitoring you can do it with ESP32 but if you need GUI and HMI I might suggest using a Raspberry for that. I can discuss the bid price, I just put a number.
