I have made chat apps before and can give you examples / demo. I have few questions so far: * I believe you realize that the app has to be integrated with a third party service for online calls ( you mentioned it below). You also said you have some API keys. Can you please tell me what is the vendor? * Please tell me what similar / competitors' apps your app is similar to? * how many users you think you will have in 2-3 years? Hello, <MISSING DETAILED SPEC> I made similar applications before, but since we miss detailed spec file, I have few questions: 1. Backend have its own requirements mainly depending from load, how many users are you going to have? And who will be these users? Is it for internal use only? 2. We can use voximplant cloud backend to record audio calls from SIP (in case of an app) or even with landline phones. Or we can use own asterisk server. 3. Since you need iOS app, you'll need apple dev account (100$/year) 4. Do you need video features? Even if you dont need it right now, I should know this as soon as possible, since it affect decisions on app stack. Pls upload detailed spec. Project is pretty big and its really hard to estimate anything without detailed spec, but roughly we are on something like 1.5-2 months. We'll split project into milestones, so you can track progress (I'm also available in all major IM (Skype, etc)) and feel safe to work with me for the first time since you don't need to pay for everything at once. We will also use bug tracking system to not miss something during development, I use Redmine but we can use yours.
