hi, i'm writing a formula in amibroker AFL . i want to backtest it. it connects to a MySQL to get data. i need to get the current 'date' and 'symbol' during the backtest process, so that i can do MySQL queries with the date and symbol. i have historical fundamental data for stocks, i want in the backtest to use the correct last quarterly report, based on the date. i have the code and the database with things working with date for today, but all i need is for it to work in backtest with past dates and select correct symbol when testing multiple. let me know if this makes sense and you would be able to help.

Hi Jean-Philppe I modified my proposal. The strategy is complete - you can pull arrays from the table and compare their values from past reporting dates to create signal filters
