I want to build a simple device to sold small globe or jar of honey. The device works with USB banknote reader. All automation is composed of Arduino UNO/R3 or Mega 2560/R3, USB Vector banknote reader USB, Arduino compatible USB Host Shield, LCD screen, 1x servo motor,1 x stepper motor with controller DriverEasy4 and 2 sets of LEDs, power supply. Attach documents about the operation and about the devices that want to use them. For other question, please ask me.

Hi there I can do it. Im a Telecommunication engineer (i studied embedded system, state machine, programming, etc. I can make custom libraries and drivers if needed directly from datasheet). Ive done a lot of similar projects like this before. I own all the hardware needed to start the project right now (Arduino, steps motors, lcd, leds...). Hi - First of all I can propose to you another solution - more compact and cheaper. An Arduino UNO (assuming this can properly handling all your needs is about 25 USD (around 100 RON) and an USB shield about 25 USD (again around 100RON) If Arduino mega2560 is required - it is around 220 RON. Instead of these you can use a Raspberry board which is only ~ 190 RON - it i scompact - it has powerfull processor and of course a builtin USB host port. It can also natively drives an LCD and it has a lot of other advantages vs Arduino. I'm a very big fan of Atmel AVRs - I'm working since about 14 years with them but in your case I think a Raspberry PI can fit better BR Horia Pop PS. Hi I have already done a very similar project marked for me 2 years ago for another company, use a NV10 USB Bank Note Validator (this deice have a USB connection to configure but the validate communication is made with a serial communication). This device have 2 internet (or private network) connections one 10/100 Mbs RJ45 Lan and other GPRS. All information are encrypted and save in a SD memory until cud be send to the server. The device have a lot of others functions the ones I don’t mention to be brief. All the system consists in 5 parts: • The device. • Windows configuration program: connect to the device with a 232 cable only to start up.. • The Windows Server remote service: Run in a Windows Server and get all the devices connections and save all the information in a DB. • The DB: your system need to get all the information from here. • Validator Manager: This program connects to the device with a USB connection and sends the county’s notes information only when start up or the bills change. The modifications will need to adjust to yours needs are very small will take me only 2 days but will need more 15 days to wait the PCBs fabrication so I can send you all the e-mail parts of the project in 2 days and the prototype in around 20 days . For this price I will give you: • The Firmware • The PCB files • The Windows Server Service • The Windows Configuration program • One 100% functional prototype send with FedEx Best Regards Ing. Hi, I have experience with Arduino and Atmel based processor, Recently completed alteration of Cleaning machine project for a company based in Romania. As per your requirements, you need to program a Arduino to operate Servo & Stepper motor on reading of Vector Banknote reader of USB type while displaying the details on LCD screen and blinking couple of LED's.
