Development of SCM music player to add live streaming audio

I am developing a wordrpress site which plays music from soundcloud that has been posted into the site. For this I am using an open source player called SCM Player ([login to view URL]). I have a custom field in the post area that allows the admin to insert a soundcloud URL, this then places a play button on the post which when clicked loads the song into the player. I am looking to extend this functionally to also work with live streaming audio feeds from servers like Shoutcast. A second custom field to be placed below the soundcloud one that would allow a feed like [login to view URL] to be streamed live through the same player. Someone with experience in Wordpress, Javascript and Audio Streaming is preferable.
