1. General Information
Project Name: Development of a Chrome browser extension for managing the size and positioning of browser windows.
Project Goal: To create an extension that allows the user to adjust the size and positioning of one or several browser window tabs using predefined settings and customizable sliders.
2. Contractor Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience with native JavaScript and TypeScript.
Knowledge and experience with React library and Node.js platform.
Experience in developing Chrome browser extensions.
Expected Skills:
Ability to work with open source code on GitHub for modifications or writing new code from scratch.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in implementing user interfaces and APIs.
3. Functional Requirements
Core Functionality:
Development of 41 buttons with fixed parameters for changing the layout and size of windows.
Capability to work with both individual and multiple tabs.
Integration of 5 slider toggles for setting user preferences:
Option to duplicate a tab with the ability to open it in a new window.
Choice between resizing the entire window or just the tab (primary toggle).
Option to hide the URL bar when opening a tab.
Option to hide the bookmarks bar.
Option to hide the tabs list.
Additional Functionality:
Discussion and potential implementation of additional features for an additional fee.
4. Non-functional Requirements
Performance: The extension should provide a quick response to user commands without significant delay.
Usability: The interface should be intuitive and user-friendly for the end user.
Security: The extension should not collect personal data from users without their knowledge and consent.
5. Documentation Requirements
The project delivery should include:
The source code of the project.
Documentation on the code and project architecture.
A user manual for installation and use of the extension.
An archive for installing the extension in the Chrome browser.
6. Guarantees and Support
Provide a warranty for a period of 5 to 6 months for fixing any arising errors and maintaining functionality.
Technical support and updates during the warranty period.
