Write a Script to Automate Article Design/Formatting in Adobe InDesign

We are looking for someone to write a script for Adobe InDesign to automate the insertion of texts and pictures into a medical journal InDesign file. We have a template ready, but every month when we publish articles into PDFs, we ready our articles by manually inserting text, pictures and content into textboxes and would like this to be scripted to save us time. We are looking for someone to write script(s) to script/automate the conversion of medical journal articles into an script-optimized InDesign template for our medical online journal. The InDesign template is pre-designed, but we would like you to optimize it to handle the script. We would like the script to be able to take what is presented in a Word Document (article with various content in it) and to take the content into the InDesign template. We may need you to optimize the Word Document so that the script can handle that too. The ultimate product we are looking for is the generation of usable PDFs that we will publish online through a more automated/scripted system. We want to use this script in the future for future articles that come into our online portal. The script should be able to handle these articles with varying content (varying # of authors, varying text length, varying number of figures). We hope to gain an asset (the script) that we can use ourselves in the future when we need to process 20+ articles each month and create PDFs out of an InDesign template, which has content populated into it from the Word document. We hope the script can populate in all this content for us into InDesign. The script needs to be able to be run on PCs and Macs. If there is additional software we need to purchase in order for the script to work, please let us know ahead of time. Fixed price for $500 to complete this project. In order for the project to be considered complete, we will need you to show us how to use the script through detailed instructions and a screensharing software (TeamViewer). As mentioned, we are hoping to use this script as our asset for our journal, to cut down the processing time it currently takes to manually populate content into our existing InDesign template.
