Desktop 2D-Platformer Game / Engine

We are seeking a programmer to construct a complete engine for a 2D Platformer game for the PC. Features may be added, removed, or modified, so source must be provided and heavily commented. The game may be ported at a later date to XBox Live or PSN Store networks. Some non-technical individuals may participate in implementing game content -- please also consider that we may ask to have a tool written for the construction of levels (tile-based), and simple event-driven cutscenes. Music, Sound, and Graphics are still mostly in production. For testing purposes, be prepared to provide your own simple placeholder graphics.
