Create 3D product box in GIMP based on 2D logos and text

I have a full company logo ([login to view URL] Enterprise Software banner, attached as PDF file, I can also supply the same in AI and EPS if needed), the logo that is based on just the "O" part, which can be copied off the full logo, and a product name, VPN Dialer 2012 (in text), and a down-arrow graphic (to be created) which indicates click-to-download. I want to put these items on a 3D product box design, with the down-pointing arrow indicating download to be at or near the lower right corner of the front of the box. It should look esthetically pleasing, and would make someone want to click on it, as if it were candy. I would like the work to be done in GIMP. I attempted to do this myself, but the learning curve was a bit steep for this immediate project.
