This cornfed midwest writer spent her entire life saying she was going to run away to California. Having finally decided that Nebraska isn't so bad, she is working on a novel about gossip, is attempting to get approximately five children's stories published, and still puts dinner on the table each night for her family (including the dogs). She is a freelancer virgin, who is attempting to figure out a way to work from home.
