We ran a Xen upgrade this morning according to SolusVM's page about the security exploit and required Xen Upgrade. After upgrading our Kernel was botched completely. We simply ran 'yum update xen'. Currently no Container will start, when we run xm create it tells us that 'xend' is not running. When we start Xend it says it starts but it doesn't. When we run XL Create it tells us a problem with libxl and won't run. We need two things. One we need our Xen kernel downgraded so that it works, before XL back when Xend and XM worked. I think it's 3.4.2. Two we need placed back into the kernel, the current boot kernel doesn't have so it won't boot. Not sure what the techs at SolusVM did but they removed it...

hi, i'm a decent linux admin but i'm tired of wasting time fumbling around in the dark, trying to get networking to work properly with proxmox at hetzner hosting in germany. im sure the support techs there could help me but they refuse to do so, only reminding me again and again that virtualization is unsupported. if you are the right person, you should take this, and we'll be done within an hour. its simple stuff, just configuring the host interfaces file properly plus the interfaces file of one guest on a single ip (meant for openvpn) and one guest on a /29 subnet. after i have a properly working host and example VMs i can figure the rest out.

Hi all, I have a sbs server 2008 running as pysical server. I want to convert that as a Virtual machine. We use Storagecraft shadowprotect to create a backup. I tried restoring this to citrix xen as a VM but it always fails. (I'm contacting storagecraft to find the solution) I also have a test citrix Xen which runs an exchange and a domain controller. I want to migrate this exchange and domain controller to a temp server. Then I can reformat the pysical server server and put everything back to Citrix on the physical server. HI, I am using Netbeans 8.0.1 in FreeBSD 10., with jdk 1.7 and maven running in the environment. When I come to generate session beans from entity classes, the Next button on the New Session Beans for Entity Classes is disabled. And there is a Red warnning message stated "The project does not have the target server set properly. Java Persistence features are server-dependent". I have added Jboss 7.2 in the Tool->Servers setup, however, it still shown the errors and the I can't proceed to generate Session beans because Next button is disabled.
