Some of my accomplishments in this role are: ∗ I lead the data analytics work involving exploring available data, designing pyS- park based data pipelines, preparing high quality data sets for management con- sumption, deploying the datasets to an internal data warehouse and investigating data issues faced by data consumers. ∗ I lead the development of a customer analytics portal that provides customer usage based analytics and ML based forecasting capabilities. ∗ I lead the development of a business analytics portal that uses Tableau/PowerBI to create interactive dashboards and reports for the management based on an analyt- ics data pipeline. ∗ I collaborated with a cross-company team to develop a ColBERT model based Question and Answering system for VMware specific datasets. • Mix, SanFrancisco, Staff Engineer, Machine Learning, I built a topic modeling framework for the company using Scala/Spark and Flink, which involved extracting high quality topics of interest for the application from Wikipedia data, such as sports, politics, entertainment, etc., developing a supervised learning method to classify incoming articles into these topics, developing methods to assess the quality of the topics using coherence and diversity metrics and building stages in the Flink based data pipelines to process and store the topic modeling results in a scal- able and efficient way. • FuelX, San Mateo, Senior Engineer, Machine Learning, As a lead machine learning developer in the company, I developed various User Scoring models, which were used to select the target users for advertising campaigns. I I also worked on various business analytic tasks that help to resolve critical issues and drive business direction. I led various data analysts in reporting and data investigations, and worked closely with data engineers to integrate scoring models into production.
