I am a mathematician and computational scientist who basically work on mathematical and computational modeling at the interface between materials and biology. I am a Finite Element Method expert, who is currently working on the mechanics of soft and living interfaces and on computationally mechanics in general. In...I am a mathematician and computational scientist who basically work on mathematical and computational modeling at the interface between materials and biology. I am a Finite Element Method expert, who is currently working on the mechanics of soft and living interfaces and on computationally mechanics in general. In addition to this, I am a very good mathematician having expertise in Engineering Mathematics, and I am a mechanical engineer as well. My last experience was to develop a theoretical and computational model to study adhesion between two biological cells. Prior to that I developed a theoretical and computational model to study the buckling of thin elastic shells. I also study the mechanics of thin bio-membranes and decohesion between vesicles. I also have experience working on heat transfer and mathematical modeling of various systems. I completed my Master's in Computational Mechanics with an Erasmus Mundus fellowship at Swansea University(U.K.) and at the UPC in Spain. I have also two years of research experience as a Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore (NUS). I am the recipient of the university gold medal for being the best Engineering master's student in the university. I did my under graduation in Mechanical Engineering. Being a Mechanical Engineer, a mathematician, and a researcher in Computational mechanics, I have experience working in many Computational Mechanics projects ( related to CFD, FInite Element Analysis, Solid and Fluid Mechanics, Structural Mechanics) using self-developed codes in MATLAB and C++, and software packages like ANSYS, GID (Fluent, Thermal and Structural) and SolidWorks. I am good at solving Engineering Mathematics related problem as well, including Calculus, Vector Calculus etc. menos
