Software Engineer

Scott Goldweber in June of 2013 joined the FDA as an ORISE fellow. Through this fellowship Bioinformatician for the High-performance Integrated Virtual Environment (HIVE) team, a collaboration between George Washington University and the Food and Drug Administration. He Lead scientific projects and collaborated with external scientists to develop new tools for the scientific community and served as technical lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously. He then took these skill sets and went to Essential Software Solutions Inc., a government contractor for the National Cancer Institute in 2015. At ESI, he further devolved his computer science and project leadership skills that helped complete various projects within the scientific community, mostly pertaining to Cancer research. In his short career, he has served as both a technical lead and a principal investigator for multiple projects involving a large array of computer languages and problem solving techniques.
