I am an official and permanent member of Indonesian Directory of Translators and Interpreter (HPI-01-17-2319). My English is excellent since I have spent the majority of time abroad in English speaking countries (Australia for 4.5 years, US for 1.5 years, the UK for 1 year, New Zealand for 1.5 years). My IELTS is 8 with 8,5 for my speaking. I currently have my own Translation Business called Trustlation with a few friends, and my translating experiences have started since I was in Junior High School. I have also translated a few fictional stories. I am also capable of proofreading many academic articles and journals. Similar to translating, I have regularly translated documents, particularly legal contracts, mostly from Indonesian to English. When translating, I always localize as many cultures and languages may not have the same meaning when the translation is translated literally. Social, economic and political context needs to be taken into account to ensure the best translation is achieved.
