History:My Education: Marketing and Advertising with a minor in Psychology-Behavioral Science (phenomenological & paranormal & NLP) Strong focus study in behavioral science and behavior modification. I'm a graduating student of Jay Abraham's XFactor and a follower of many of the great direct marketing guru's. Years of experience in publishing, and document layout, including technical writing, copy writing, as well as exploratory research writing. I have formal training in Photoshop CS and 7.0, MySQL, VB, VBA, MS Access, Excel, DHTML. The balance of technologies are all self taught including PHP. I use the entire Macromedia Suite along with StyleMaster, phpEdit Professional, Photoshop, FlashMX, and Freehand along with a myriad of tools for clean design. A few high response headlines: "How to outfox the foxes" 30 things lawyers don't want you to know. (book that sold thousands of copies) "1000's now financed who previously thought they couldn't" (home loan ad) "How to get away with murder, legally" (advertisement for anit-abortion organization) And many others. Technologies experience: Started in the early 90's with BBS systems for printing industry. Created an Excalibur BBS system that allowed users to upload b&w or color multi page documents to be printed by our vast array of printing solutions which were then bound, assembled, boxed and delivered to the client. The system was later optimized for customers who wanted printed publications for mass distribution. We created a system that would allow Realtors to upload listing details via the BBS and be included in local Real Estate publications that were distributed region wide. This system was adapted to Car Dealers, Furniture stores, and general advertising until the service outdated itself in the late 90's. I gravitated my publishing and advertising background to web based technologies. Studied databases and MySQL in depth along with DreamweaverMX, and many Internet technologies. PHP is my newest objective. Worked as a template designer for a well known template house until I decided to go out on my own. I build templates for MAMBO, OPEN-REALTY, phpBB, Simple Machines Forums, osCommerce, Zen Cart, and other open-source applications. (Templates / Themes sometimes used to mean the same thing) First Real Web Application: My first real Internet application was a tool for Realtors called the "Real Estate Calculator Suite" which was 16 financial calculators that can be added to any web site. The project has recently been added to our current development schedule to bring the layout and appearance up to date. This application is FREE and is scheduled for release by June of this year 2005. Following applications include, Resume Generator, Legal Document Generator, a web based version of the Real Estate Ad Generator using FPDF (under revision) and currently working on a FREE application called "Web Master" Clients: Since my early publishing days I've mainly focused on small companies and individuals who are "Do it yourself" people who need help getting started or setup. Primary customers have been Realtors, mortgage companies, and other small sales oriented professions. We tend to speak the same language and my experience working with them has proven to be positive in getting projects completed. I like to see the under dog succeed. I love home based business people. I find it difficult to work with people who dont value the Internet as a marketing solution capable of making people wealthy. It makes no sense why a person would spend so much money on printing shirts, hats, business cards, cups and pens only to try and get away with building quality sites for $50 or so. I have the greatest respect for people who understand the value of web based business.
