My professional objective is to research, develop and deliver the best IT solutions over IA tools that simplify the life of people. I have more than 20 years of experience developing software, and in the last four years I was focused on language technologies. My main interest is to create personal Intelligent Assistants that exploit and help people with the knowledge of the day-to-day life. I am particularly interested in efficient algorithms for inference and learning, and systems that can utilize large textual corpora, e.g. the web. My work utilizes methods from machine learning, deep learning, and combinatorial optimization, and targets applications such as syntactic parsing, coreference resolution, machine translation, and information extraction.
