Hello, I'm Kat. I love doing fun things with words and engaging with others. I like to call myself a social media advocate because I think being able to connect and form communities is one of the most important things a brand can do.
I graduated from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management. While I’m great at project management, delegating duties, and keeping people on task, my real passion lies in marketing. When you really love your product and your brand, getting others to do the same is cake!
I have a strong background in writing and marketing. I began in 2008 by assisting in the launch of PugetSoundOff – a website created by the Seattle YMCA dedicated to giving local youth a voice. I published regular blogs, sparked conversation, and assisted with moderating the website’s users and content. From there, I wandered into the field of journalism for four years until I eventually ended up in social media marketing. I was whisked off my feet, and have had my nose buried in helping others create communities with similar interests ever since. I now have over 7 years of published content ranging from articles, press releases, and web content to blogs and social media content.
If you’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic girl to help you write some blogs, create a social media strategy for you, or to just talk social media with, drop me a line!
