I am a teacher by trade and have worked in various educational settings around the world. I also run an International summer school for students.
My web site is a platform where tutors are matched with students who require tuition. This would be based on both geographical position for face to face tuition and for online distance learning. Tutors would register and create a profile on the site showing their experience and credentials. Students/parents would browse the site for appropriate services. Tutors pay to subscribe to the site to view the jobs available. The subscriptions would be tier based allowing for different levels of access from free to premium. A messaging feature on the site would allow paying tutors to chat with their students to arrange tuition. When parents view a profile or request a tutor, that teacher will receive a notification and can view the contact details.
If a tutor or student’s subscription has lapsed, they will not see all the information unless they subscribe again but they will be notified. This is the basic premise of the site. It would also contain several articles and links to advice and information regarding best practice around tutoring.
Users on the site would need to be able to share job posts from the site easily on fb, twitter, linkedin and other social media platforms.
