I have a Shopify site, but not done anything really since setting site up, due to family commitments. Now I have more time, but I realize it will take me a long time to get my site how I'd like it. I don't want to start Facebook etc advertising until my site is better.
I like the way this site is done: [login to view URL] I think the product descriptions are great, the apps used seem to work well, the Shipping info on product pages excellent, the large 'Free Shipping" the trust seals, and so on.
Also...
1. As long as the pages, design, apps etc are set up, and one or two products optimised, I can then add or improve the existing products the same.
2. I also can write the product descriptions if necessary.
So bearing in mind these 2 things, how much would it cost to get my site like that? And how much would I need to spend to get apps, any new template, header, pics or any other expenses, one offs or ongoing costs would I incur?

We would need to determine precisely how much you want your site to look like theirs (the apps? the layout? the colors? etc.) but regardless it doesn't seem too complicated.
