Ongoing video editing for Sydney based recruitment firm Each quarter our director will interview our heads of desks about the latest trends in their area of specialty, what's driving supply and demand, etc. At the moment we film the interviews on 2 x iphones (one focused on the interviewer, one on the interviewee) and I edit using iMovie. Below is a link to our first example: [login to view URL](Transformation_change_trend_report_April5_9_2017) We will be filming 5 of these videos every quarter and are looking for someone that can support us on an ongoing basis. You would be supplied two lots of raw footage (anywhere from 6 7 to minutes) and be required to combine in to one extended video with background music at intro and outro (we will provide theme), and also provide smaller 2 to 3 minute clips that we can share through various social media platforms. There is the potential for this to lead to additional ongoing work as we will be looking to publish video content on a weekly basis. We would like to work with someone who is efficient, cost effective and can also offer us any tips on how we might improve our filming technique / processes.

Hello! I usually take more complex orders, but I can edit interviews for you. And if you'll ever need motion graphics, I can do that as well. You also wanted some tips on production, and I can share some basic ones right here: -Director should be placed slightly to the left in the shot, and interviewed person should be slightly to the right. Human mind gets bored when staring at the center of the screen, it's much more interesting when our sight is "traveling" back and forth. -It's ok for director to stare at the camera when greeting the viewer, but when interview starts, both persons should look at each other, and not at the camera. I've been editing video for close to ten years. I have many samples on YouTube to review. My finished product is very professional. I have edited for television, film festivals, corporate video, music videos and more. Many non-professionals will not edit to industry standards. For example, their audio will not sound correct with the sound bed (background music). I will deliver the best product the source footage allows.
