Free Radius configuration for authentication against AD, WLAN
$500-750 USD
Pagado a la entrega
We want to provide WLAN access to our users which are maintained in a windows 2003 /2008 Active directory. The AD is built on "real" windows server, not samba. The users connect to WLAN Accesspoints DLINK DAP 2853, these are configured to use "WPA Enterprise" which passes the authorization to an radius server.
As radius server we want to use free radius under linux, preferrably Open Suse or Suse Enterprise [url removed, login to view] radius server uses a selfsigned Certificate, the certification authority is not listed as "trusted" in windows.
As clients we use Windows XP / SP 3 and windows 7, the connect to the WLAN must be performed with the Microsoft WLAN Client, which is delivered as standard. Configurations which use hardware or manufacturer specific clients are not accepted. The authorization must be encrypted and the microsoft client must be able to use windows logon for authentication.
As hardware we use on the client side mostly
HP Notebooks 8540, 8530 and 8510
Dell Latitude E6510
The configuration should work on other types of notebooks as well, as we are a global enterprise with lots of sites.
Task of bidder :
Perform configuration of the free radius server and perform tests which prove the configuration works for at least 3 different notebooks.
Delivery of all needed specifications and configuration files for the radius server and for the Windows client. Proves ( screenshots, logfile) that show the configuration work.
Skills / Ressources needed
The bidder should have working knowledge of network protocols, linux and windows. He must be able to setup or to use an own system landscape consisting of an AD Server, linux with free radius , an "enterprise WPA " capable Accesspoint and a windows 7 / Windows XP client.
Attention : We need the configuration rather urgently. Please do **not**
bid for the project if you are not able to perform the task in 7 days after bidding closes
