Hi All,
I require a few copywritten documents for use in a debut musician press release kit.
The kit is to be sent into radio stations, blogs and magazines for interview and review, local newspapers for mentions, collaborative interest, and general interest in both the media’s release, and my identity as an artist.
At present I have a website about to be released with a (password protected) industry page, likely containing the Electronic press release kit. This is to pair with an abbreviated, textured, introductory flyer with url links to the afore mentioned.
These would comprise of an Artist Biography and Press release copywriting for both the full size Electronic, and abbreviated hard copy version.
Obviously the content from each of these are liable to be forwarded onto various departments or organisations word for word, so i am very keen to find a writer with a back catalogue of succinct, immediately engaging media release kits to support this possibility.
I would like a writer with proven experience in writing MUSICIANS’ release kits, and preferably (although by no means essential) examples of Rap/urban music involvement.
I assume the biography to be a single page although i am unfamiliar and wouldnt like to guess how many words exactly is usual.
The hard copy will be between a5 and a6 in size and again I would need your professional opinion on the number of words. I would expect the flyer to be heavily image, contact information, and url links based and as such would imagine the writing would have to be both short and almost instantly engaging.
The electronic release page i would imagine to be approximately one a4 pages size however, again, I am relying on your professional opinion on the end word count and content.
II apologise for the essay, I assumed that a thorough rundown of what I require would help in minimising time wasting.
