I am a full-time, highly professional medical writer. I obtained my BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, followed by my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Cambridge, UK. Subsequently, I completed a post-doc and worked as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Mattel Children's Hospital, UCLA. While at UCLA I ran the monthly Endocrine grand rounds clinical conference series, so am completely comfortable with a variety of medical fields and terminology. I became a full-time medical writer and editor in 2014.
I have an unparalleled breadth of research experience, and have written and/or edited hundreds of medical and scientific manuscripts, grants, abstracts, posters, presentations, websites, books, and more, including (but not limited to) those related to endocrinology, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, cardiology, neurology, oncology, cell biology, nutrition, aging, and molecular biology. I am also working with a global client to obtain funding for 30 clinics in Asia, so already have a good idea of the best approaches toward successfully establishing your hospice.
I have spent some time familiarizing myself with your concept and website, and think that I would be a very good fit for the position. A project such as yours opens up a number of both traditional and non-traditional potential funding avenues that we could explore.
I look forward to discussing this project with you further.
