I would like to hire a Python Developer

I'm Trinidad, and I think this project fits 100% with my profile and previous work experience. In fact I've done this kind of software before, many many times, while working as GIS developer for more than 8 years. I intend to use Shapely in this project as it allows for the operations you need and is a freely available and tested Python library. Relevant Skills and Experience I have implemented GIS applications and libraries, which included what you need: shapefile reading and writing, persistence using WKT/WKB to SQLServer, alongside other DBMS' with spatial support. I've done this in various programming languages, including C++, C#, Delphi, and Python. I've also used various third party libraries like GDAL/OGR, Shapelib, and Shapely in Python, alongside custom made libraries by myself for parsing and generating SHPs, and WKT (alongside with WKB for performance reasons) interfacing SQLServer Spatial, PostGIS, and Oracle Spatial. The reason for having implemented this in many ways is because where I worked we had the constant need to deal with geographic data, and had different applications for different clients, ranging from web apps, to desktop simulators, some legacy code, etc and I was the responsible for implementing and maintaining most of the GIS side, including some custom in-house libraries. That's why I'm confident with taking this project and that I will be able to meet your expectations.
