I need someone who is an expert with Python and OpenPyXl to help me to finish a task automation programme that I have been writing. Let me explain. I have 3 excel sheets, Write off levels - New World from 1st July 2021 [login to view URL] Write off levels - New World from 1st Apr [login to view URL] New World Template [login to view URL] I need to perform several tasks on the Write off levels sheets including removal of a number of columns and rows, unmerge cells etc and then copy a cell range (A - BE) into the New World Template sheet. So far this is fine and I have my programme doing this successfully. But the problem I have is when I copy the values from the 2nd Write off levels sheet and paste into New World Template sheet it overwrites the values from the first Write off levels sheet! So in summary, I need to perform a number of actions on both Write off levels sheets (this is already in the programme script) and then copy cell range A - BE from BOTH Write off levels sheets and merge these values into the New World Template sheet without overwriting each other! Once this is done I then need to copy the cell formulas from Column BF - CK and "drag" these formulas down to the last row. I know this can all be done in OpenPyXl but I need some help to achieve this. I have attached my script below so that you can see what I have written so far. Please do NOT bid on this unless you are 100% confident that you can complete the task. I will NOT pay for someone that does not complete this task successfully as I have already had many Freelancers attempt this task and fail and then demand payment from me! **OPENPYXL** I think I can do this job ( change/update Py code to make it work correctly) But I think more better will be If I will do all this in VBA Best solution for working with excel is excel VBA. That is 14 time faster then Python and working directly with sheets So I recommended VBA for this job Good result is guaranteed. I have a 15+ year experience Excel VBA, Visual Basic and Quick Basic application. After clarifications from you, I can do this maybe in 1-2 day using VBA ( But I can do this in Py too ) Hope you will be satisfied with result Thanks

I have done similar task. Rough Idea on how to do it: 1) Read the data in Pandas library (not openpyxl) and merge the data. Save to local system for OpenPyXl to pick up in next step. 2) Create a template with "Pre filled formulas", say 10,000 rows or more. (to cover Column BF - CK part) 3) Read the merged/saved data in OpenPyXl and refresh to populate in formula. Do paste special. 4) Delete the unused rows and save it back with openpyxl. Why? Use pandas for minimal code You have control on the formulas (if you want to change the formula later, you edit template).
