I have been using the Raspberry Pi for quite some time now and I've made various applications with it including home automation, video surveillance, media center add-ons. Among the hardware I've used with it are EnOcean devices, GrovePi sensors, HAT boards (GrovePi, SenseHAT, UnicornHAT, PiFace relay), picamera, magnetic card readers, Modbus devices, servo motors and many others. I have the programming skills of more than 178 modules, sensors and other devices. With my engineering background, I have a good knowledge of the C language that enables me to improve or adapt the peripheral library.
