Experience with Ticket systems or Travel and Tourism industry is a huge plus.

I understand this is not a thorough spec sheet. I would like a phone conversation to discuss further. Then put everything into a formal agreement. I need this completed by March 1st.

My Budget is somewhat flexible, but i'm really looking for a simple database with a few input forms and specific tracking capabilities, and with a little luck be able to charge a customer if need be. We use [login to view URL] and they have a fairly simple API to integrate into anything.

Ticket Management Web Based App

Overview:

The purpose of this application is for a concierge agent to have the ability to enter in the customer and activity information. Providing us with clear records of what transpired as well as the ability to email and print a receipt. This also stores the information in a manner for running reports based on certain criteria specified below.

I expect this will require a scalable build with php/mysql, but I am open to other options. We will want this to be a permanent installation and viable for many years of use. Currently there are approximately 25,000 tickets written per year. I would like to easily be able to save and track 1,000,000 tickets plus all of the data for vendors and individual activities each offer.

There are several things that are included in each ticket that is required information.

1. Customer Information

2. Vendor Information

3. Activity Information

4. Payment Information

We want a very clean and simple form interface to fill out this data. While the customer data will be different each time. The Vendor and Activity Information will be static and will be required to be selected from a drop down menu. There will be some information that is dynamically filled out based on the selection of vendor and of activity: Departures times, locations, check in time, items you need to bring etc…

All of this information will need to be able to be very well organized for receipt and email form to include a google map of the location address with an identifier on their destination.

There will be several reports that will be required to be ran and several ways to run them. They will be used for accounting and billing [login to view URL] be discussed with developer.

We need a way for multiple users to be added and given 1 of 3 levels of permissions

We need a way to add a vendor easily with the information

We need to add an activity and associate it with a vendor

We need a way to run reports on ticket information based on many variables for accounting purposes.

Reports:

1. Accounting report to show how much money was

a. collected

b. how it was collected (cash, credit card, room charge)

c. who the commission is owed to

2. Tickets created by which user

3. Tickets created by location 1 or location 2

4. Tickets created by date created

5. Tickets created by date of activity

6. Tickets created by date range

7. Tickets created by vendor

8. Tickets created by activity

9. Tickets created by combination of multiple options listed above

Vendor Module:

1. Vendor (Company) Name

2. Contact Info

a. Primary Contact Name

b. Phone Number

c. Address

d. Primary Contact Email

3. Commission Rate

Activity Module:

1. Vendor (select from vendor list)

Associate commission rates

2. Activity Name

3. Ticket Type and Price (There may be multiple tickets types each with their own price.)

a. Example1: “Adult $50, Child $35, Child under 5 Free”

b. Example2: “Single Rider $140, Double Rider $160”

4. Tax rate

5. Activity Time (some activities will have multiple departure times)

6. Check in Time (field with static text. example: “please check in 45 minutes before departure”)

7. Check in Address (this will also be the address the google map is created from)

8. Check in Requirements (Static text field)

9. Cancellation Policy (Static Text Field)
