What We Want To Do:
With the end goal of helping your business grow and make as many connections as possible, we propose the following:
1. Make the software accessible anywhere and on any device. We’ll develop the application to be a web application, and adjust the interface depending on the screen size of the user. This means that the application will work on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones — as long as there’s an available Internet connection. The display of the application will be tailored to the device being used — accessing the application from a smart phone will highlight mobile uses (call tracking, lead management) and minimize reporting, settings management, and other things that aren’t typically done while on the road.
2. Make updating and extending the software cheap and easy. We’ll employ something called test driven development, which is a style of writing software that will add a layer of insurance to the software. This substantially lowers the total cost of ownership, and gives any developer near immediate feedback on whether a change broke some existing functionality before it impacts the lives of your business.
3. Minimize in-application friction wherever possible.
What We’ll Be Preparing For:
Writing the application can expose new bugs and other problems. Because we’ll have this insurance layer of tests, we’ll be able to minimize problems proactively. We’ll also include a period of quality assurance and manual testing that happens before we
