Hello,
I have 2 problems, linked to moving my site from a PHP4 server to PHP5:
1. SOAP
-------
I have a SOAP Class that used to work well on PHP4 Apache server with nusoap to a server to which I need to send XML queries. Now that I moved the site to a PHP5 server, it doesn't work.
I reinstalled a new nusoap for PHP5 that I found on Google (instead of the nusoap that I had previously), but I see that when I launch a new soapclientNusoap, nothing happens (I used a wireshark trace to check if anything is sent).
If I use the built-in PHP5 SoapClient, I get the error:
Fatal error: Uncaught SoapFault exception: [WSDL] SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from ...
but in this case, I can see in the Wireshark network trace that the server is contacted and responding.
2. Register_globals
-------------------
I get this error:
Warning: Unknown: Your script possibly relies on a session side-effect which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this warning by setting session.bug_compat_42 or session.bug_compat_warn to off, respectively. in Unknown on line 0
I had to disable some code that checks register_globals status, otherwise it doesn't work, because although register_globals is on, that code thought it wasn't. weird stuff.
If you're a very good PHP programmer that can handle these issues, please make an offer and specify your hourly rate.
Thank you in advance,
David
