Our desire is to form a long-term working relationship with a talented WordPress developer/designer who will assist us in the ongoing development of Philanthropy Catalyst ([login to view URL]). We use Understrap ([login to view URL]) as our WP theme, it is built on Underscores ([login to view URL]) and Bootstrap ([login to view URL]). We are looking for the following: - Ensure responsiveness across common form factors (smartphone, tablet, desktop/laptop). - Create (or enhance) templates for the following pages: - Site Home Page - Offer/Donor Archive Pages - Individual Offer/Donor Listing Pages - Search Results Page - Update CSS to provide a consistent style including colors and fonts. We are currently working on a relaunch of the site. You can find the latest version at staging2.philcata.com. We recommend referring to this rather than our main domain philcata.com. We are using the Directories Pro plugin for WordPress for the directory. They have fairly exhaustive documentation ([login to view URL]) available on their site. They also are fairly responsive to questions posted here ([login to view URL]). They have a nice demo site here ([login to view URL]). We have created a mockup of the pages we’d like with the design we’d like ([login to view URL]). Things are not to scale but otherwise should be fairly good representations of what we’d like (some simplification of the design will need to occur when being viewed on smaller devices). If you have additional ideas for how to improve the site, we’d love to hear them! They don’t have to be part of your bid, we can consider creating separate jobs for those ideas, if you are selected for the main job.
