I have a problem with editing some Woocommerce products: when I update data via the administration panel, after clicking the "Update" button, the Apache server hangs (after 60sec when it gets timeout from Nginx proxy). All the changes we made with product title and content (from the wp_posts table) are being saved ok, changes to data such as prices (metadata) are not ok.
Price changes can be made directly in the database (wp_postmeta table) and they are recorded by the product's editing page. I have tested editing the product content / title programmatically (via wp_update_post) - it works. I do not know the way to modify prices "permanently" (ie in the database, not locally by add_action) (omitting the mysql query). The Query Monitor does not register any queries after clicking 'Update'.
The problem occurs only on some products, I did not find a common point for problematic products.
I will mention, however, that the site has recently been updated, which caused the creation of damaged copies of some photos (in the database, wp_posts table there were photos that did not have their corresponding entries in the wp_postmeta table with meta_key "_wp_attached_file" or _wp_attachment_metadata, or they had them, but with empty meta_value).
Problem must be solved via TeamViewer, Skype or other remote desktop (we will setup a developer version for tests, to not work on real shop), as we can not give access to server. Altought we have full root VPS (CentOS) access and WPadmin.
after decreasing max_execution_time in php from 60 to 30secs, server does not hung, it just gets timeout and does nothing - no price update
Finally, we have found out it is related to latest WPML update and send it to WPML support as we are paying customer.
