Connection to MySQL via ODBC / ADODB failing after using different server than current cPanel

We have a client that is a developer and host its databases with us. He has one mysql DB where a client's application uses ODBD and ADODB to connect to this database. In this server, we have MySQL version 5.5.46. We moved this DB to a new Plesk 12.5 VPS. All worked perfectly in cpanel and now in plesk this doesn't work anymore. Exact client's steps to recreate the issue: With ODBC, creates next connectiuon: [login to view URL] Then he goes to Microsoft Access and vinculates tables via ODBC. Working fine. Problem comes when client tries to connect via ADO using Visual Basic: sConexion="Driver={MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANSI Driver};Server=[login to view URL];Database=client_db;User=user;Password=PROTECTED;Option=3" Dim miConexion As [login to view URL] Set miConexion = New [login to view URL] [login to view URL] = sConexion [login to view URL] Connection works fine, but when user goes to open a table with this order: Dim rsCB As [login to view URL] Set rsCB = New [login to view URL] [login to view URL] "select * from Codigos_Barras", miConexion Then user gets next error: [login to view URL] This means that tables doesn't exist ! The client's code is good and user has been working long time with it, also we've been mana¡ging this in our managed server server2.magennta.es. Also, my client is is an experienced application consultant and is using this technology in lots of places, and he never had any issue until now. Relevant data: - Connection string with ODBC driver os Driver={MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANSI Driver}, that's the last driver available. - miConexion object is the [login to view URL], once oppened has the next config: Provider=MSDASQL.1;Password=PROTECTED;Extended Properties="DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANSI Driver};PWD=PROTECTED;Server=[login to view URL];Database=client_db;User=user;Option=3; - I've seen a spanish letter (ñ) in two tables. Maybe this could affect, but very hard to tell developer to change this.
